My Mommy Routine & Quick Date Night Makeup and Hair

I thought it would be fun to share with you my typical Mommy routine. I hope you enjoy!

My husband surprised me that day by asking me if we wanted to go grab dinner later that night. He had already set up a babysitter for our children, so I was excited for our last minute date night!

I also showed you how I quickly get ready for our date, you can fast forward to 4:30 to watch the makeup and hair. I will list the makeup products I used below:

  •  Lorac Pro matte shadows taupe in the crease & sable on the outer corner, gold shadow on the lid (I used w/ MAC Fix+ to have the gold have a metallic finish), cream shadow to highlight under the brow, and champagne shadow for the inner corner highlight
  • Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner Brown
  • Bare Minerals Original Foundation Medium Beige
  • Maybelline Fit Me Concealer
  • Elf Undereye setting powder
  • Bare Mineral Mineral Veil
  • Elf Bronze/Blush Duo for my bronzer
  • Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Prim
  • The Balm Mary Lou Manizer
  • MAC Mystery eyeshadow to fill in my brows
  • Maybelline Clear Mascara to set brows in place
  • Shu Uemura Eye Lash Curler
  • Maybelline The Falsies Waterproof Mascara
  • Boots No7 nude lipliner
  • Rimmel Nude Delight Lipstick

Lately I have been enjoying this RAW Fit protein powder as my morning breakfast. It has 28 grams of protein for one scoop! It is so fast and easy, and it really does satisfy my hunger. I also take a handful of vitamins.  That combination gives me a great boost of energy throughout the day.

A few times a week I try to go to the gym with my children in the morning. This is such a healthy way for me to cope with daily stress. I love a good endorphin rush!

After the gym, it's lunch and nap-time. I decided to take a quick shower to get ready for our date later that evening.

Typically, I take my showers after I put the kids to bed so I can relax and unwind. I light candles, turn on some spa music and I turn the lights off in the bathroom. The candlelight allows for just enough light so that I can see what I am doing and not cut myself while shaving my legs!

Am I the only one who showers with the lights off??? I find that it really helps me fall asleep faster as well.  That way your eyes adjust to the darkness, I think it may have something to do with melatonin, right?! Just make sure you keep your phone, and TV turned off so that the light doesn't stimulate your brain before falling asleep.

I had a lot of fun sharing my Mommy routine with you. I hope you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
